Charlie Butler, hails from Lanark,Scotland. He began a series of solo releases via such labels as Weird Beard Records, Cruel Nature Records, Fuzzed Up & Astromoon Records, Panurus Productions and more in 2021 exploring weird, heavy and hypnotic sounds alongside being a member of Cody Noon, Mothertrucker and Head Drop.

Metal Machine Ascension is Shane Hartman from Stratford, Ontario Canada. Immersed in the strange worlds of tape music, psychedelia and improvised sounds, he has recorded under his own name and MMA since 2021. He can also be found behind a wall of synths, tape machines and effects pedals attempting to play guitar with Underground Mountains.
